Welcome to Write More
We are celebrating our fifth year of being able to offer our outstanding writing products and curriculum to teachers, administrators, and parents like you. Last year we shook off the economic conditions and had a fantastic year adding hundreds of new clients. We also received a tremendous amount of feedback telling us things that they liked about Write More and offering ideas for products and changes in the future. Write More All-Inclusive Writer’s Tool Bags
Write More has created our best-ever complete classroom sets for grades 1-10. Everything a teacher needs to teach writing and to create an atmosphere for writing in the classroom all in one bag! The new Writer’s Tool Bags are a collection of writing prompts, effective organizers, rubrics, writing and revision activities, student portfolios, writing games and more all included in our sturdy tool bag. The Writer's Tool Bag delivers effective, fun writing plans for whole class, small group and individual instruction and writer's workshop. Three All New Explorer Writing Camps
Take writing to a new level of fun and interest while integrating it with our three new learning themes - Predators on the Prowl, Out of this World and Destination: China. Write More Explorer camps are designed to teach different types of writing and to focus on ways to improve writing content. Our Explorer camps come to you in a cool duffel bag ready to use over and over again! Everything is included to teach a group of 20 students. Predators on the Prowl focuses on organization and elaboration with activities covering a broad range of writing skills aimed at helping the student become a better communicator overall. In Out of this World, campers will learn and practice a variety of writing strategies including organization, elaboration, using figurative language, developing setting and character, writing action and description and much more! Two New Professional Development Workshops and our upgraded Professional Development Bundle
Write More is pleased to announce the addition of two new Professional Development Workshops two our growing list of subjects. Our Helping Struggling Readers Through Writing workshop deals with readers who often feel that writing is too hard because it takes so much focus and work. In this workshop, teachers will practice different methods to get kids started writing short sentences, thoughts, paragraphs and ideas. This interactive workshop will focus on teaching writing through modeling and through the use of concrete organizers. Struggling readers benefit tremendously from daily writing… let's discover fun, effective ways to get kids reading and writing! In our Parents As Writers: Building the Parent–Child Connection Through Writing At Home workshop we focus on ways to get families to have fun writing and learning together. Creative writing is interactive, challenging and fun. The more people write, the more they learn about the writing process and what makes their writing interesting. Using vivid verbs, precise descriptions and phrasing adds life and interest to writing. During this workshop, participants will learn many ways to encourage parents to write with their child at home.
